ACAI Studios & Gallery believes that everyone in the community has the ability to create art. Art contributes to the beauty, excitement, and vigor of our surroundings and community.

Art is encouraged in a community by providing a safe nurturing environment where community members can develop skills in visual arts and crafts. Community commitment to the arts and crafts is a vital part of creating and maintaining a balanced community that promotes the well-being of its citizens.

Creativity, Involvement, and Focus are essential elements of Health and Vitality for both Individuals and communities.

Our History

ACAI Studios & Gallery was founded in 2009 by ceramic artists. Because they saw the need in the east Sacramento communities of Fair Oaks, Folsom, Citrus Heights, Orangevale, Gold River, and Carmichael for an art center devoted to the ceramic arts, they formed a non-profit Allied Ceramics Art Institute (ACAI).

They were fortunate to find a suitable building centrally located in Fair Oaks. The center includes a gallery, private studio spaces, an indoor sculpture garden, and a shared ceramics studio space. The studio provides the space, equipment, and support needed for ceramic arts.

What We Offer

ACAI Studios & Gallery offers outstanding artistic, educational, and collaborative opportunities in ceramic arts. We have year-round ceramics classes for all levels, from beginner through advanced.

The Studio has Shared Memberships that give interested adults access to the studio and its equipment twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Our gallery shows local artist works with a new show each month. We serve homeschool students, scout groups, and birthday parties.

ACAI is a resource for personal and professional growth in the ceramic arts. The studio serves the needs of anyone interested in ceramics, including children, curious beginners, off and on hobbyists, collectors, and emerging and experienced artists.
